It is a patented, fully synthetic product that has similar solubilising properties to hydrochloric acid without the extremely high rates of corrosion and reactivity. It is a hybrid solution that falls between how a high strength mineral acid and a low strength organic acid would react. It can be referred to as a synthetic acid.
Oil Safe AR® is basically a super concentrated solution of hydrogen (H+). It has a stronger bond to the H+ ion than an HCl molecule, therefore, it creates a more controlled reaction rate. Not allowing the H+ ion to react easily in the presence of carbonates (CacO3) or iron (Fe) is what generates the slower rate and extremely low corrosion properties.
Over time gas wells can lose pressure and become liquid condensed and loaded with accumulated water, thus decreasing production from all zones within the well. Blower rods are the technology that will maximise gas production.
